One of Bollywood’s most successful actors, Shahrukh Khan, has already signed three new films for 2014. Now it looks like he could be going international with Mr. International himself, Pitbull, who admitted that he would love to work with SRK in the future.
Pitbull did a performance with Khan, who taught him a few Bollywood moves, during the opening ceremony of Indian Premier League (IPL) in Kolkata last year and the rapper apparently wants more.
“I had an amazing time during my IPL visit to India. The kind of love and affection that I received was overwhelming,” said Pitbull to Times of India, remember his performance in India. “The people of India are really warm. I really enjoyed performing in front of such as huge and welcoming audience.”
After teaming up with Khan on the stage, the rapper admitted that he would love to do it again someday.
“I got to learn a few Bollywood footsteps, thank to Shah Rukh. He is an amazing performer, full of energy,” said Pitbull. “There is nothing as of now, but I would definitely love to work with him in the future.”
“I have always loved working in collaboration with various artists,” added the rapper.
“Raees,” which also stars Farhan Akhtar, is an action drama film set in Gujarat where King Khan plays a bootlegger while Akhtar plays the role of a cop.
The movie will be directed by Rahul Dholakia and is produced by Sidwani and Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment.
Even though details for the shooting has been declared, the lead actresses have yet to be confirmed. There have been rumors that Sonam Kapoor would play the leading lady, however, she has no free dates as well as Katrina Kaif.
The film is expected to start filming Nov. 1 and is slated to release sometime next year.
SRK has also started preparing for “Fan” and hinted that he will be playing the biggest fan himself in the forthcoming film, which begins shooting July 2014.
The actor started working on the film, showing off his new look created by special effects makeup artist Greg Cannom, who spent a considerable amount of time working on SRK’s new identity.
“We are attempting a never-seen before look for Shah Rukh which will be both challenging for us and exciting for the viewer,” said Maneesh Sharma, director of the film. “Understandably, this will be kept under wraps till the first look of the film is revealed.”
Cannom has been nominated for nine Academy Awards and won an Oscar three times for the looks he created in “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” “Mrs. Doubtfire” and “Dracula.”
